SUPER STAR is proud to have a very strong R&D department that is fully equipped with necessary instruments for design and test of CFL, LED lamps, Circuit breakers, Bakelite products & Fan. These equipments are utilized for design and development to make sure our products pass the tests in accordance with IEC60081 and IEC60929.

SUPER STAR R&D lab is one of the most advanced laboratories in Bangladesh with its talented Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics engineers. R&D has introduced multiple new products to market every year and has tried to improve the old products continuously in order to reach customer satisfaction.

SUPER STAR R&D department is equipped with photometric and electrical measurement instruments to test and design low and high power LED products. Also, EMC and EMI measurements are available.

We guarantee the quality parameters such as luminous output, electrical parameters and safety parameters of both CFL and LED designs before each production by using spectrophotometer sphere and other test instruments available in the R&D department.

Another activity of the R&D department prior to any production is to design the necessary ICT testers in order to enable SUPER STAR production lines to test and ensure the quality of our products during bulk production.
